Presidents Message

             It is with great pride and humility that I address you as the founder and chairman of the Lions Club of Kolhapur Trust, Kolhapur. My journey in life, from a small town in Sangli, Maharashtra, to establishing this trust, has been driven by a deep desire to serve the community. I was fortunate to pursue my passion for education, receiving my PhD in Zoology from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. My tenure as a professor at Warana College, Warananagar, was a rewarding chapter where I dedicated myself to academic excellence and the holistic development of students.
Later, as Principal of DABNC, Chikhali, I had the privilege of meeting my mentor, B.N. Pawar Sir, whose guidance shaped my vision for the future. In 2011, I joined the Lions Club of Kolhapur with a commitment to social upliftment, and in 2013, I took a significant step by founding the Lions Club of Kolhapur Trust. My goal was simple yet profound: to provide meaningful social services that could make a difference in people's lives.
Under my guidance, we successfully established Lions Eye Hospital in Kodoli and Ichalkaranji. Offering affordable eye care to all sections of society.These hospitals are a testament to our mission of ensuring that no one is deprived of essential healthcare services.
Moreover, projects such as Rakshakunda and the 12 Lions Children Health Parks in Kolhapur have been instrumental in enhancing the health and well-being of our community. Our work is far from over, and I am confident that with continued support and dedication, we will keep progressing toward a brighter and more inclusive future for all.
